Happy Heavenly Birthday
When this was taken back in 2016 in Bracken County, KY, little did we know it would be so prophetic. Back on 29 September 2018 I imagine you walked towards the light of heaven, waiting to meet all those who have gone before and finally also meet Jesus where you saw your crown and presented it and heard those words “Well done my good and faithful servant, enter into the Joy of your Lord”. Sometime soon after that, you got your new mission. I ask God to bless you in your new mission Rodney. I love you. You will always be the love of my life. Happy heavenly birthday my love. “And the Lord said, let there be light”. Keep walking towards the light my love.

5 months since go to heaven day
Well Rod, it’s been 5 months. 5 months since your go to Heaven day. 5 months and no hugs, no kisses, no noodle notes in my lunch bag, nothing physical, only spiritual. Only the memories that flood my mind, the photos I see as they go across the TV screen, your things in my drawer I touch when I want to touch the things you touched, your clothes I smell when I want to feel you close to me. All I have is God. I guess all I ever have had is God and You, and now you are not here physically. Even though you are always right behind my eyes, you’re not right in front of my eyes. You won’t be with me here on earth again. I’ll have to wait to see you in Heaven. You will always be the love of my life Rod. Always.
Father God,
Thank you for giving me the time with my Rodney. Thank you for giving us the gift of true love. I ask that You bless him Father in his mission now. I ask that You send your spirit to me to give me strength and patience to wait for our reunion. Our glorious reunion where we will see Jesus face to face and stand in judgement and have to answer the question of “what did you do with the time I gave you?” I come up short Father and I ask that You send Your Spirit to me, to witness unto to me what is truth so that I may be of maximum service to You and my fellows. Thank you for your grace and for the ultimate sacrifice You gave us with Your Son Jesus. Thank you Jesus to have died for me that I may enter into Heaven through You. I Jesus name I Pray, Amen.
